Tutorial:
Movie Maker
For starters: This program only comes equipped in ME or XP windows. Sorry.
Goto START (Programes) Assecories, then to Windows Movie Maker.
Once Open it should look like the below Image, but without the clips.
IMPORTANT: goto File [blue oval ] ans Save Project as, give it a name. This will be ur backup.
Your Movie Maker does get errors once in a while. Save Every 2-5 minutes
The Large Blue retangels are the areas where you right click on your mouse,
and you get several options when you do that. most used is IMPORT.
With Import you can import Images, Audios: MP3s, Wavs, other forms too, Video Clips*.WMV, AVI. and MOV work*( Realplayer clips dont work).
Once its imported. itll look like those clips [Red Oval] ( a Video Clip will be broken down into more clips) not one WHOLE one.
Images will be one clip. And Audio too,
Now Click the green square ( its the timeline, where you drag images too)
Once there the yellow retangel are your + and - magnifiing glass.
Which let short clips become more visable
If you have several clips, you can PREVIEW it by goto the play tab and going to the option play entire movie.
You'll hear the video clips against ur audio, to fix that you goto the tool below the black box i drew. And You can make it to where only the Audio can be heard
Might have to repeat this step if it doesn't happen each time u preview it
FADING is EASY
Drag two diff clips on the timeline, and then drag the second clip over the first. and the clip wil appear inverse (that just mean it faded with the other clip)
A Good Song will help you make a good Music Video. IMages work great too. Specially if your graphic like VST and I
For Adding TEXT its a graphic with whatever text you apply on it
Black background seems to work best
The black box is for recording audio( your Voice or whatever comes out of the computer into the mic) also webcams work well to record clips of you
Saving your MUSIC video is the LAST
step. Goto FILE [ Blue Oval ] and there is a SAVE MOVIE option.
Itll ask you simple stuff, like title of MV, author (your name), time, day, rating, and descriptions
Then yourll Save it. And itll ask you again for the NAME you wanna save the movie with
Once saved( takes most people 10-20 minutes to complete) itll be placed in your MY Video Folder ( IN my Documents )
And then you can UPLOAD it to your Site.
